IT PAYS TO LAY PAYMENT SYSTEM EXPLAINED

If you've looked around many tipster services you'll have found that most charge an upfront flat fee for their services regardless of the results. This can vary from a modest £20 per month to well over £100 a month even on losing months. To me that is not a fair way to charge. In my opinion I deserve a fair fee for the time consuming work put into producing the selections but only if they produce a profit for you. I have seen a similar system from another tipster which charges on a daily basis. This seems a little unfair to me as over a 7 day period you could have 1 successful day, which is charged for, then 6 losing days, all charged at £0.00. This could mean that over that 7 day period you make a loss overall yet still have to pay for the single winning day. Therefore I charge on a weekly basis based on the profit made that week. This smoothes out the ups and downs of daily profit or loss and allows you to more closely pay for what you make. If in any week you don't make a profit then you don't pay a penny. Indeed due to the rounding of the fee you could even make 0.49 points profit and still not pay a penny. Let me give you an example.

This Week This Week This Week Overall Overall Overall
  Points P/L £ P/L Fee Points P/L £ P/L Fee

Week 4 8.40   £420.00   £30.00   11.29   £564.50   £45.00
Week 3 -0.50   -£25.00   £0.00   2.89   £144.50   £15.00
Week 2 0.30   £15.00   £0.00   3.39   £169.50   £15.00
Week 1 2.67   £133.50   £15.00   3.09   £154.50   £15.00

A point is a worked out as a fixed liability. If you laid a selection which started with BSP odds of 6.00 and specified a fixed liability of £50 then your stake would be £10 and the point value would be £50. If the selection was successful for us then your return would be £10 minus commission. The points profit on that selection would then be your return minus commission divided by the liability

£10.00 - 5% = £9.50

£9.50 / £50.00 = 0.19 points

If the selection was not successful for us then you would lose 1.00 point

The weekly charge is based on the total profit from the 7 day period and is £5.00 per point rounded to the nearest £5.00. The maximum fee payable is £30.00 for any single week, so any profit over 6.00 points in a single week is not charged for.

On the example above we can see that on week 1 we make a 2.67 points profit. If we used £50 liability bets the 2.67 points would be £133.50 after 5% betfair commission. For this the fee you would pay at the end of the week would be £15.00

Week 2 makes a profit of 0.30 points. Again using £50 liability bets this would mean a profit of £15.00 after commission. For this the fee you would pay would be £0.00

Week 3 makes a loss of 0.50 points. Again using £50 liability bets this would mean a loss of £25.00 after commission. For this the fee you would pay would be £0.00

Week 4 makes a profit of 8.40 points. Again using £50 liability bets this would mean a profit of £420.00 after commission. For this the fee you would pay would be £30.00 (maximum weekly fee)

So far in the example above we have made a profit over the 4 weeks at £50 liability of £564.50 and the combined fee for this is £45.00.

A week starts on the Sunday and finishes on the Saturday. A Paypal invoice will be sent at the end of the week. Access to the Sunday selections will still be allowed but the invoice must be settled before access to further selections.

If you join midweek then your weekly charge will be based on the number of days you actually receive selections for.

There are individual charges for each of the four methods. Premier Lay, Premier Back, Max Lay & Max Lay Place. You can register for each individually so you will only pay the fee on the method you use.

Unfortunately there are people who would become members, receive the tips and make a nice profit for a week but then not settle the invoice. Due to this there is a £10.00 fee to become an account holder. This is payable when joining the service. If the account is kept open for a period of 12 weeks and settled in a timely manner each week the £10.00 will be refunded by deducting it from the invoice total on week 13, or subsequent weeks if need be. Please be aware that although I will try to automatically do this it is the responsibility of the account holder to notify me that this refund is due.
